A while ago, there were a lot of sites that just existed...that was kind of their only purpose. That's all they really needed to do. A reflection of someone's inner feelings without being too specific or straightforward. If you looked around a bit, you could get a sense of the person, but, not all of them. There was a lot of room to pour in your own feelings...or, expand your understanding. In a strange way, these small spaces that were lovingly and passionately coded were a profoundly "human" creation.

I hope you enjoy your stay here. I'm happy you came, and I hope you can continue on and find somewhere else to stay awhile and get to know, just like this place.

Back then, it was a little easier to feel alone and isolated. I think now there is a comforting underlayer that can change how vast that sentiment once felt.
